Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities include "Pink Boutiques." Participating businesses sell pink and other selected merchandise in their stores during the month of October, with 15% of sales going to the "Gift of Life" and its free mammogram services for Southeast Texas women who are uninsured and underinsured.

In addition, each boutique displays signage that educates consumers about the importance of early detection and also hosts a "Pink Lady" after her debut at the Breast Cancer Awareness Month Kickoff.

Pink Boutiques further support our program by selling the new Shakin', Bakin', and Celebratin' Cookbook, as well as "Pink Ladies" notecards.
