The “Gift of Life” is fortunate to have the following individuals involved in its leadership framework. An active Board, members consistently exhibit their commitment to public service and the program mission, routinely participating in the organization’s activities. Some directors are health care professionals who lend their expertise at cancer screening events, others are breast and prostate cancer survivors who share their stories during educational outreach, and still others volunteer their time assisting with general program responsibilities, such as registering clients for medical tests and exams. In their role as Board members, all of these individuals raise cancer awareness in Southeast Texas and convey the important message of early detection and preventative care services available through the “Gift of Life.”
